On November 7, 2024, the FiFTech team held a mini-workshop with introductions, short presentations, and a lunch. Presenters included:

UCSB Blockchain summit

The first UCSB Blockchain summit was held in May 2024, sponsored by Hedera, NEAR Foundation, Starknet Foundation, Coreum.

Industry leaders, students, and enthusiasts came together for a day of insightful lectures and networking opportunities, which featured the following speakers:

In 2023-2024, Blockchain@UCSB hosted a Blockchain Fundamentals course with over 200 students, and a Chainlink 101 lecture series in collaboration with Chainlink Labs.
